#PlungeBeard – The Aftermath
Word don’t describe what it feels like to have so many people supporting something you believe in.
At the end of the day, the Wolf Pack burgeoned to 11-strong. Thanks so much to my fellow pack-mates:
Baba & Papa J, Anna and Katherine, Emma, Shane, Christine & Tristan, Seamus & Ian (and Lily, a loner we had met in line).
In addition to all those special people, everyone who pledged anything at all — what a crazy ride! Thank you for making this Polar Plunge & this whole beardsly thing such a great experience.
Speaking of thanking pledgers, I have a couple last minute pledgers to thank:
Aunt Jean, who not only pledged, but also came out yesterday to partake in the shenanigans – Thank you! (Let’s get coffee, soon!)
And Anne & Jay who also came to the event and hung out afterwards. I owe you guys a 6-pack of BLL… or at least we should meet up for some delicious craft brews!
Because of you guys, I got 2 additional beardsly, so I donated an extra $20–$10 each to the youngest wolves Tristan and Ian.
I also have to give a special shout-out to my sisters, Anna (Aunt Nan) & Katherine (Aunt Kiki), who flew in from Chicago & Seattle to be here this weekend. How can you beat coming home to MN to purposefully run into a frozen lake, howl and run back out?
Thanks to you all who supported me and in doing so have supported Rawley and the kids and adults just like him who participate in the Special Olympics.
